You will need:

How to:

Cut a piece of pattern paper to 6″ x 11″.  With right side of paper facing upwards, and orientated shortest side to top gate, score at 1″ and 5″ as per diagram below. Then turn (still with right side of paper facing upwards) so that the longest side is aligned with the top gate score at 1″, 5″, 6″ and 10″.

Turn over so you have wrong side facing you, and fold and crease of the scored lines, and on all six of the little boxes created by the scoring, cut either side of the score line (as shown in the diagram below marked in red).  Do not over do this cutting, it only needs to be the smallest amount (ask me how I know that ………..I ended up cutting of one of the tabs and having to start again!).

Next make up the box as per this little video.

** Sorry, I was a bit too shy to actually speak (hopefully I will manage that bit later on, this is the first time I’ve done and added video of my own – so go me!).

With the small piece of pattern paper cut small 3 x 1/2″ strips and scallop using the SU punch.

Witht the box shut, so that it’s easier to work out where you need to adhere them place on the two sides and front of the lid (again ask I how I know to shut the box up and work this out ….yep I stuck them on the wrong sides the first time I tried it!).

Adhere the pearls in place on each of the little scallops.

Using the Cuttlebug and Nestie Label set (dies, 2, 3 and 4) cut out die (2) in Whispers White cardstock, die (3) in BG green pattern paper and die (4) in lilac.

Emboss the lilac piece with the Swiss Dots embossing folder, and run around the edges with the Pearlescent Purple Brilliance Ink Pad.  I also lightly ran the ink pad over the dots to enhance them.

Run the Gingerbread VersaMagic around the green label.

Using Momento Tuxedo Black Ink stamp out Simone and colour in (I love my COPICS and they are alwasy my first choice for colouring). I was surprised how much of her fitted on that size label actually.  Run around edge of the piece with the Pearlescent Purple Brilliance.

Tie a piece of green satin ribbon around the lilac piece, I went for a knot rather than a bow, but either would work.  Then adhere the green piece using 3-d pads of silicone glue over that, and then the white piece over the top of the green (again with 3-d pads of silicone).  Add white pearl gems to three of the corners of the green piece, and pale green gems to all of the corners on the white piece.

Place a small square jewel brad through the centre of the satin flower, and with silicone glue add to the bottom righthand side of the assembled die cuts as per the picture.

I’m planning to pop some sweeties in the box as a gift for a friend.
